Vincent E. Bradley Sr.

Reflections of His Life
Vincent Edward Bradley Sr.

Vincent Edward Bradley Sr. was born on June 3, 1962, in McNab, Arkansas, where he was raised by his loving parents Ardell Bradley and the late Joyce Bradley.  Many of us remember Vincent as “Buster”, a nickname his grandparents gave him at an early age. Buster could do no wrong in their eyes, but as he got older, he was called Vince.

Vince was all about family, brotherhood, and community. He single-handedly raised his 9 children, ushering each child into adulthood. To care for his family, Vincent developed a passion for driving 18 wheelers across the country for many years. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles and was constantly remodeling his home. Keeping busy, Vince multitasked instinctively and without effort.  Everyone knew he was a sharp dresser, which he also made look easy. He exhibited his compassion and commitment to the community by becoming a Mason, and remained active until his health declined.

Vincent loved the holidays and coming home late at night to find his mother Joyce in the kitchen cooking. He and his mother spent hours singing all of Al Green’s songs together; They both had such beautiful voices. From this, Vincent developed and shared his cooking skills. It was hard to beat his cooking, especially his barbecuing talent.

He grew up in McNab, AR and years later decided to make Ashdown, AR his home until he was no longer physical able to.  At the age of 60 years old, Vincent E. Bradley Sr. passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Arkansas Nursing & Rehabilitation in Texarkana, AR. He will remain in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by: his sister, Charlotte (Bradley) Griffin; aunties, Opal Adams and Linda Brown; grandparents, George and Alyweser Brown, Darnell and Curly Mae Bradley.

Vince leaves the following loved ones to cherish his memories: children, Brandy Robinson and Danielle Flemings both of Fulton, AR, Vincent Edward Bradley Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christopher (Oriana) Bradley of Washington DC, Phillip and Anthony Bradley both of Hot Springs, AR, Joshua Bradley of Little Rock, AR, Tiana and Tyrell Bradley of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Lisa (Marcus) Bonds of Windermere, Florida, Ardell Lamont Bradley of Killen, Texas, Shawn Bradley of Nash, TX, Sonya Savage of Hooks, Texas, and Ashley (Jody) Bradley-Harris of Sachse, TX; aunts, Annie Walker of Nash, TX, and Darlene Duffle of Hope, AR; uncle, Henry Brown Sr. of McNab, AR; special friend, Evelyn Semester of Texarkana, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
