Bobby G. Stroup, age 85, of Texarkana, AR passed away at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. 


Bobby was born on April 27, 1932 in Enid, Oklahoma to Jesse and Beulah Stroup.  He lived most of his life in Texarkana, Arkansas and worked in several different industries.  He is survived by four children and three grandchildren. 

His children are Timothy Eric Stroup, 61 years old of Texarkana AR, Shanna Leigh Stroup, 55 years old of Texarkana AR, Shane Stroup, 54 years old of Texarkana AR, and Lisa Dara Black Traut, 65 years old of Arlington, Texas.

His grandchildren are Gabrielle N. Stoddard, 38 years old of Carrollton TX, Zachary D. Traut, 35 years old of Denver, Colorado, Tyler S. Stroup, 19 years old of Texarkana, TX.   He also had six nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by parents, his wife Lila Mae Stroup, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Kaliea Munn

On January 2, 2000, a beautiful chocolate-colored baby girl named Kaliea Janiece Munn ("Black Beauty") was born to Kieliema Porter and Lee Munn. She departed this life on Sunday morning, May 28, 2017 in Branson, MO.  As a child, Kaliea spent her Wednesday evenings studying the Holy Bible at Maranatha Baptist Church. Years later, the family became members of Floyd T. Jeans CME Church in Tollette, AR where Kaliea was first baptized. In 2011, they transferred their membership to First Providence Outreach Ministries in Nashville, AR where Kaliea, along with her mother and sisters, underwent baptism. Kaliea faithfully served in the church's youth choir and praise team. 

During her school years, Kaliea played for the AAU Lady Hurricanes and Nashville’s Scrapperette Basketball Team.  She was a proud member of the USA Track & Field’s Success Performance Track Club.  At Nashville High School, she was the third leg in the 4x40 relay and placed 2nd in the district and 4th in the state.  The baby sister of the “Fab 4” always lit up the room with her sassy personality, unique qualities and bright smile. 

Kaliea was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bennie Stuart, great-grandparents Elmore & Valdee Williams, Major White, Sonny & Katherine Porter; great-great grandparents Eddie & Christine Black, and mentor/godfather Antonio Finley.

Leaving to cherish her precious memories are her parents Kieliema Porter of Nashville, AR and Lee Munn of Washington, AR; two sisters, Karie Porter and Asia Munn of Nashville, AR; one brother, Iverson Munn of Prescott, AR; grandparents, Vajeana Porter of Nashville, AR, Earl (Myrtle Faye) Williams of Saratoga, AR, Barbara Ann White of Washington, AR, and Willlie Munn of Ozan, AR; great-grandmother Edna White of Washington; two aunts, Latasha (Charles) Wright of Saratoga, AR; KaVaughnjala Harris of Nashville, TN; seven uncles, Marcus "Bubba" (Lena) White of Washington, AR, Marquetis Anderson of Texarkana, AR, Brandy Armstrong of Hope, AR,  Jabin Specks, Willie Hopson, and Ahmad Williams of Nashville, AR, and Steven Williams of Saratoga, AR; godmother, Rachel Hawkins of Fayetteville, AR; god sister/brothers, Princess Thomas of Mineral Springs, AR and Dylan & Austin Finley of Nashville, AR; and three best friends, Tori Erwin, Nadia Rourk, and Daisy Grundy of Nashville, AR.

Visitation for Ms. Munn will be 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at M&H Funeral Enterprises | 411 S Walnut St. Hope, AR 71801.

Mr. Jimmie Edward Law was born July 18, 1951 to the late Edgar Law, Sr. and Maxine Law in Bradley, Arkansas. Jimmie attended church at St. Paul Baptist Church. He departed his life on Sunday, July 18, 2016 at his home in Houston, Texas.
Jimmie attended school in Bradley, Arkansas. After school, Jimmie married Carolyn Flowers and they moved to Houston, Texas. Jimmie was an electrician and a farmer. Jimmie loved spending time with his children, family and friends.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Minnell Law.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carolyn Law; children, Shelia (Joe) Guidry, Greg Law, Roaslind Law, Fredrick (Shandrika) Law, Tiffany Law, Brooklyn Guidry; one grandson, Gregory Law, Jr.; mother, Maxine Law; sister, Sherry Lee; brothers, Edgar (Ether) Law, Charles Law, Jerry (Pam) Law, Reggie Law; special friends, Rhonda and Randy; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
